Part 3 Of Beachcombing At Ganavan Beach, Oban, Argyll
Welcome to Part 3 of my beachcombing visit to Ganavan Beach, near Oban In Argyll and Bute.
The walking terrain here is of a hiking nature, so please wear appropriate footwear. There’s an alternative walking route, this leads around to Dunstaffnage Castle. There is a pathway tarmac pavement that leads you around this way. Also suitable for bikes/bicycles.
The same facilities apply here as stated in the blog for part 1. A bus route does go past this beach as well which is really useful.
There is a beautiful cove here as shown in the video below. There is lots of seaglass, seashells and seaweed/kelp to be found in this particular spot.
There is also a fantastic seawreck to be spotted here.
