Easdale Island is a very special place and has, at its core, a community of people proud of the Island and constantly aware of the need to support itself and attract people to it.

The Island has a specific identity, a powerful history, and a love of the arts and music. Those who visit the Island, often form a personal relationship with it, with it’s natural beauty and those who inhabit this unique and special place.

Many arts and crafts festivals have been held, many music events, and of course, the famous world skimming championships. Blogs have been written, documentaries made and many Youtube videos made here. We have the fantastic Seafari Adventures, who offer experiences and adventures around the waters surrounding this magical place.

We also have the amazing Puffer Bar And Restaurant for our visitors who are peckish or want to quench their thirst!

We are lucky to have such a diverse and driven community who have a common sentiment…Easdale Island.

Our friendly Ferrymen will get you over to the Island from Ellenabeich and you can find the crossing times here..

From the day we moved to live here, we experienced at first hand, the generosity and selfless support from the community who helped us move our belongings to the house we are now proud to call home.

I am not just satisfied to live here…

I am determined to contribute to the community and to offer something to help attract visitors here…to offer another experience for those who want to cross over and to take their own perspective of what Easdale Island is.

My name is Lisa McQueenie, and I am an artist. I specialise in working with the treasures of the sea to produce individual and bespoke pieces of Jewellery, Canvases, model houses and hand made greetings cards.

I have created a pop-up art gallery in my home and I hope to welcome you, and present to you some work that you can buy to remind you of this special place we now call home…

I am open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am until 5pm and you can also contact me here in case you missed my opening times and order online or simply get in touch for a conversation about commissions or getting that special gift.
